Mr. Johan Forssell, the Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Sweden, on Behalf of the Swedish Presidency of the EU Council, to Türkiye / Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs
H.E. Mr. Olivér Várhelyi, EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations and H.E. Mr. Johan Forssell, the Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Sweden on behalf of the Swedish Presidency of the EU Council, will pay a visit to Türkiye on 21-22 February 2023, to demonstrate solidarity and express their support and condolences to the EU candidate country Türkiye, after the earthquakes in our country.
Commissioner Varhelyi and Minister Forssell will meet with Minister Çavuşoğlu in Ankara and discuss additional EU assistance in the quake-hit areas and arrangements related to the international conference to be held in March.
