
African Union and Colombia to strengthen cooperation – Prensa Latina
AU Commissioner for Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy and Sustainable Environment Josepha Sacco said on Twitter that Marquez was received by AU Commission Deputy Chairwoman Monique Nsanzbaganwa and other high-level officials.
HE @FranciaMarquezM, Vice President of the Republic of Colombia met the @_AfricanUnion Commission. The meeting was presided over by DCP HE @mnsanzabaganwa. The Vice President is committed to strengthening cooperation between his country and the @_AfricanUnion in sharing knowledge and South to South cooperation, tweeted Sacco.
Marquez arrived in Ethiopia on Wednesday on an official tour, his last on the continent that has also taken him to South Africa and Kenya. He was received by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Thursday morning.
