We are continuing to conduct humanitarian aid activities for Turkmens and other Iraqi brothers who are affected by the conflicts. The humanitarian aid materials (water, food and beds) loaded on three trailer trucks by the Turkish Red Crescent reached Sinjar on July 1st under the coordination of the Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Agency. On the other hand, it is planned that the Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Agency will send a number of kitchen sets, blankets and food packages to Zaho today (July 2th) to be conveyed to the displaced people in Tal Afar.

Necessary efforts to ensure the return of all the Turkish citizens kept in Iraq, safe and sound, are being conducted in a sensitive manner. The Turkish Embassy in Baghdad is continuing to conduct the efforts for ensuring the safe return to Turkey of our citizens in Iraq. In this framework, our relevant units have been rapidly answering the demands of information and support submitted to the Crisis Center based on the currently available information and in spite of the extraordinary circumstances ongoing in Iraq.
