UAE condemns terrorist attack in Somalia

SHARJAH 24 – WAM: The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting an African Union Transition Mission base in the central Shabele region, southwest of the Somali capital Mogadishu, resulting in the death and injury of peacekeeping mission personnel from the Republic of Burundi Went.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation strongly condemned the UAE for these criminal acts, and continued its rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilizing security and stability in violation of humanitarian values ​​and principles. to be confirmed.

The Ministry reaffirmed its full solidarity with the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia to achieve security and stability in the country.

In addition, the Ministry expressed its deepest condolences and sympathies to the Government and the people of the Republic of Burundi and the families of the victims of this heinous crime, while wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
